I have ranted before about the issues I have with so-called "modern art"...though you'll just have to take my word on it, I'm too beat right now to find the links.

Take this guy for instance: James Jarrett

Is it just me, or does it look like he sneezed on the yellow one and forgot to clean if off before it dried? And it's called...wait for it...Blue Teig. Leaving aside for the moment, the complete lack of "blue", just whatinell is a "teig"? Dictionary.com doesn't know. Google turns up a German wiki entry that, when run through Babel Fish, insists "teig" is a sort of paste. One that closely resembles a biscuit, I see.

Art is in the eye of the beholder, I freely admit. But whenever I see crap like Mister Jarrett's hanging in a gallery, I want to kick my dog. And I like my dog.
